Fun Fact about Calla Lilies


​The most common meaning for calla lilies is purity, innocence, holiness, and faithfulness.  Calla lilies are also symbolisms for rebirth and also tied to the resurrection of Jesus because they bloom around Easter and interestingly enough, they are shaped like trumpets which symbolize triumph.  Due to the white and waxy blooms poking out of the dark foliage, this flower has earned a connection to innocence and purity too. 

There are also meanings tied to different colors of the calla lily.  Here are a few:
  • Bright yellow and orange represent joy, growth, and change.
  • Lavender and light blue; grace and refined beauty
  • Dark purple depicts royalty and strength.
  • Pink for admiration and admiration.
  • Dark red equals passion and courage.
  • Black represents elegance with a touch of mysterious.
